House swap Salt Lake for Southern California

I'm so excited!! We just found out that Ryan was excepted into an away rotation at the University of Utah for the whole month of August. He was also excepted into the top school for his field in medicine, which is in Texas. We are still waiting to hear back from John Hopkin's but he's been excepted into every rotation that he applied to so far. Ok, I'm done husband bragging, but it is so exciting to have everything fall into place. Our future is looking promising. Back to Salt Lake. We would love to go out to Salt Lake all together as a family and would be willing to house swap with someone. Or if you know anyone that has a rental within 30min. of the university we would be willing to rent for the month of August. I'm counting on some help finding something from all my friends. We are also listed on house swap on Craigs List. Please let me know if you have any ideas....the clock is ticking.

Tennis anyone?

Here's our Logan dressed for tennis or racquetball. He always wants to go with daddy when he plays, so Ryan dressed him up. He's such a ham!

Baskin Robins 31 cent night!!!

Last week was 31 cent scoop night at Baskin Robins. The event was to raise funds to help support the fire fighters. There was a fire truck parked in front of the store and the kids loved crawling all over it. I'm so glad that they had the fire truck for entertainment, because the line wrapped around the building, but I had promised David that we would go. We had a great time with lots of yummy ice cream.

seaworld park

This year we got annual passes to seaworld. We love going and David's favorites their are Shamu, the shark encounter, and the giant manatee. Let me tell you that David has the Shamu slam down and loves to sit in the "soak zone."

Yoda Kitty

Our family has a new addition, that's right we got a simese cat. Ryan's mom had a simese cat that had two kittens, one boy and one girl. Ofcourse we ended up with the boy, because I seemed to be out voted for the girl kitty by my three boys. We named him Yoda because of his rather large ears. He is a beautiful kitten and even though I'm allergic to cats I really love this little fur ball. As for the allergy, let's just say that Claritin is my new best medicine.
